Maryland Renfest Withdrawal Syndrome (The Bloody Drama), an abnormal or pathological fear (often in the form of stage fright) usually involving fairy tales and typically characterized by spasms affecting the mouth, lungs and chest caused by alternating laughing and coughing because of failure of the epiglottis to function properly, causing one to inhale one's drink. The condition is marked by the presence of circulating actors (two or three) in the audience which react with suggestions on various subjects from the audience members' brains producing combined improvisational fictional works and often eliciting encores.
